Job Summary:
An institution of higher learning is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Aquaculture Instructor to train and mentor students in fish farming and aquaculture practices. The ideal candidate will provide both theoretical and practical instruction in aquaculture management, fish production, pond maintenance, and sustainable farming techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Teach aquaculture and fish farming principles in line with the training curriculum
•    Conduct practical training on pond management, fish breeding, feeding, and harvesting
•    Supervise students during practical sessions and field activities
•    Maintain aquaculture facilities, ponds, and equipment
•    Monitor fish health and water quality standards
•    Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and student assessments
•    Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental standards
•    Support vocational and skills acquisition programs of the establishment

Requirements & Qualifications:
•    Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in fisheries, aquaculture, animal science or a related field.
•    2–3 years practical experience in aquaculture or fish farming
•    Ability to teach both theoretical and practical sessions
•    Good communication and instructional skills
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Added Advantage:
•    Experience working in a vocational training institute
•    Knowledge of modern aquaculture systems and fish production techniques
•    Ability to manage fish ponds and hatchery operations
•    Teaching or training experience
