Job Summary:
A school in Aba is seeking passionate, dedicated, and experienced primary school teachers to deliver quality education and support the academic and personal development of pupils. All candidates MUST be highly computer-literate with good facility of computers and modern digital tools in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment. Computers are an integral part of the tutorial experiences. Candidates should expect to be tested in the use of computers in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Teach core primary subjects (English, Mathematics, Basic Science, etc.)
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain discipline
• Assess and evaluate pupils’ academic performance
• Prepare lesson notes, assignments, and tests
• Maintain accurate student records and reports
• Communicate effectively with parents and school management
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum of NCE / Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• 2–3 years teaching experience in a primary school (preferred)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Ability to prepare lesson plans and deliver effectively
• TRCN registration
• Experience with modern teaching methods and classroom technology
• Strong subject mastery in core primary subjects.
