Job Summary:
A growing organization is seeking a Civil Engineer or Building Technologist to support construction, maintenance, and infrastructure development activities. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing projects, evaluating construction methods, and ensuring the quality and integrity of building and infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support planning and execution of construction and maintenance projects
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities
• Assist with preparation of project documentation and reports
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and technical personnel
• Monitor quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Evaluate materials and construction methods
• Support facility improvement and infrastructure development initiatives
• Participate in project planning and budgeting activities
Requirements & Qualifications:
• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
• Knowledge of construction practices and building systems
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities
Added Advantage:
• Experience supervising construction projects
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials
• Experience preparing bills of quantities or project estimates
• Familiarity with project management software
