Job Summary:
A company in Aba is looking for skilled and experienced masons to support the maintenance of existing structures and the construction of new facilities.  The ideal candidate must have strong craftsmanship skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret design specifications accurately. This position requires the use of modern masonry equipment. As such, applicants will be expected to demonstrate competence in the use of modern masonry techniques including the use of non-traditional materials in construction. 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Demonstrated ability to perform professional masonry tasks.
•    Measure, cut, shape, and assemble structural masonry materials.
•    Interpret drawings, sketches, and design specifications.
•    Operate masonry equipment and hand tools safely 
•    Carry out repairs and maintenance of existing structures
•    Ensure quality finishing and durability of construction elements
•    Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
•    Train and guide others in the art of construction masonry.
Required Qualifications:
•    Minimum of SSCE / OND with minimum of 2 years’ experience.
•    Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials 
•    Ability to read and interpret basic design drawings
•    Skilled in using hand tools and masonry equipment
•    Attention to detail and high-quality finishing
•    Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks 
•    Ability to work under deadlines
Added Advantage:
•    Technical training or trade certification
•    Experience in construction masonry
•    Knowledge of modern masonry techniques
•    Ability to supervise junior masons or apprentices.
