Job Summary:
A growing organization is seeking a Corporate Counsel & Corporate Affairs Manager to support its legal, regulatory, institutional, and strategic partnership activities. The successful candidate will serve as an important interface between the organization and a broad range of stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, institutional partners, commercial counterparties, and other external organizations.
The ideal candidate should possess sound legal judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in both legal and leadership capacities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal and regulatory guidance to support organizational activities
• Interface with regulatory agencies and institutional stakeholders
• Support the development and management of strategic partnerships
• Assist with corporate governance and compliance activities
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and related documents
• Support licensing, permitting, and regulatory engagement activities
• Monitor relevant legal, regulatory, and policy developments
• Represent the organization in meetings, negotiations, and stakeholder engagements
• Support dispute resolution and risk management initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and qualification to practice law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and stakeholder relationships
• Good organizational and professional judgment
Added Advantage:
• Experience serving as a Company Secretary
• Experience in corporate affairs, regulatory affairs, or public affairs
• Experience managing institutional partnerships
• Familiarity with licensing, permitting, and compliance processes
• Training or experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
• Experience supporting business development or organizational leadership activities
