Job Code: KM-003A
Title: Leveraged Content & Partnerships Coordinator
Location: Aba, Abia State, Nigeria (Hybrid: On-site + Remote Eligible)
About the Organization
An educational media organization is assembling its founding team to build a new knowledge-sharing platform dedicated to preserving thoughtful conversations, educational programming and community engagement.
The organization believes that great institutions are built through meaningful collaboration. Rather than creating every programme internally, it seeks to work alongside schools, healthcare professionals, authors, publishers, community organizations, professional associations and subject matter experts to develop programming of lasting educational value.
This is an opportunity to help build those relationships from the very beginning.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a thoughtful, energetic and relationship-oriented individual to serve as our inaugural Leveraged Content & Partnerships Coordinator.
This role is about discovering opportunities that others overlook.
You will identify organizations and individuals whose knowledge, experience or educational resources deserve a wider audience, then help transform those relationships into programmes that enrich the institution and its listeners.
You will also help develop and coordinate the organization's future Media Fellows Network, creating long-term relationships with contributors who extend the reach and impact of the institution.
If you enjoy connecting people, recognizing possibilities and building partnerships that create value for everyone involved, you may find this role deeply fulfilling.
What You Will Do
As Leveraged Content & Partnerships Coordinator, you will:
- Develop relationships with schools, colleges and universities.
- Build partnerships with hospitals, healthcare professionals and educational organizations.
- Engage authors, publishers and literary organizations.
- Identify subject matter experts whose knowledge would benefit listeners.
- Coordinate institutional contributors for flagship programmes.
- Develop and support the organization's Media Fellows programme.
- Identify opportunities for educationally appropriate sponsored programming.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with partner organizations.
- Help expand the organization's network of contributors across multiple disciplines.
- Represent the organization professionally in meetings and correspondence.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is measured by relationships rather than transactions.
Successful coordinators consistently:
- build trusted partnerships;
- attract respected contributors;
- identify valuable programme opportunities;
- strengthen the organization's reputation;
- create collaborations that continue growing over time;
- expand the diversity and quality of institutional knowledge.
The strongest partnerships should feel less like business arrangements and more like shared educational missions.
Who Will Thrive In This Role
You may be an excellent fit if you:
- genuinely enjoy meeting people;
- communicate clearly and professionally;
- follow through on commitments;
- recognize opportunities others may overlook;
- enjoy creating mutually beneficial relationships;
- are curious about many different disciplines;
- represent organizations with integrity and professionalism;
- understand that trust is built over time.
Previous media experience is helpful but not essential.
Relationship-building, professionalism and thoughtful communication matter far more.
Desired Qualifications
Applicants may come from backgrounds such as:
- communications;
- education;

Working Style
This role combines remote collaboration with regular engagement across educational institutions, professional organizations and community partners.
Some local and regional travel should be expected.
Applicants should enjoy representing an organization in professional settings while maintaining careful documentation and ongoing communication with colleagues.
Why This Role Matters
The strongest educational institutions are rarely built alone.
They become stronger by creating meaningful partnerships with people who share their commitment to education, thoughtful dialogue and community development.
